April has been a busy one for us so far, with our Sandpit program coming into its final days for this round, the Fellowship teams gearing up for their last month and our first class just around the corner!
Our first class is looking to be another sell out session with just a couple of spots left. As someone who considers themselves fairly technical, it was surprising seeing how much I still had to learn when sitting in on the class. If you or a colleague are interested in attending, click above for details or feel free to shoot through any question, big or small, by replying to this email.
This month, we tried something a bit different for our Open House at Our Community and broke into two smaller groups - giving the teams time to workshop ideas with those who came. Our next Open House will likely be our last for a while - so I'd love to have a chance to meet you there!
That's it from the base team - now here's what's happening in the wider community.

Achievements
Small steps in a good direction lead to great things. Here's a few things we think are definitely worth celebrating.
ORBIT - an Online Referral and Booking Information Tool developed by the team working at Victoria Legal Aid has just cracked over 5000 referrals, saving the agency a lot of time and money. Well done team!
Our friends over at Code for Canada turned one this month. Here's what they've learned in the last year of working with government.
We also launched our first email course - Working Well With Developers. You can check it out here and let us know your
thoughts.
