Teams getting to know each other and brainstorming ideas at Civic Makers Melbourne
Hello ,
Welcome to your August Edition of the Code for Australia newsletter.
This month we'll be wrapping up two of our Fellowship projects at Service NSW and Digital NSW, celebrating with an Open House in Melbourne and via live stream! There'll be presentations from our Cenitex team and the Base Team also, so lots of good stuff to soak up.
On the back of some amazing audiences at our Tech for Non Tech classes in June across Sydney and Melbourne, we've decided to run two more classes in October, again in Melbourne and (a first) in Adelaide! We're very excited to come and hang out with new friends there and are looking for networks and partners who might be able to help us share the word. Give us a bell if this might be
you...
We're also continuing work on our Digital Maturity Assessments with the Public Sector Commission in New South Wales, and with our Civic Makers program here in Melbourne. We're looking forward to sharing some early results and learnings with you all soon, perhaps even at Open House!
Lastly, but not least importantly, we're thrilled to have Soreti Kadir join our Base Team as our new Head of Delivery! Soreti has been with us just a few weeks and is already doing phenomenal things. We'd love to introduce you to her in person one day soon.
As always it's great to have you in our community, thanks for letting us be a part of your inbox. If you have any thoughts for how we can keep delivering stuff you want, let us know here.

Achievements
Small steps in a good direction lead to great
things. Here's a few things we think are definitely worth celebrating.
A huge round of applause to Alex Crook and Lara Stephenson, who've been the team pioneering work on the Digital Maturity Assessment, in partnership with the Public Sector Commission and supported by our Managing Director, Matt. They've been synthesising a whole lot of findings after many, many interviews, and using a process that's still being fine-tuned within an
Australian context - a huge undertaking. We've been amazed by their process and learnings and cannot wait to share these more broadly soon. Go team!
Have you ever wondered, desperately, how you can look more like a Venture Capitalist? Look no further than this snazzy startup, with a secretly awesome cause.
